The Flower Vault once again is welcoming families, friends and their furry loved ones to make those perfect Instagrammable memories, this time with a holly-jolly array of backdrops and props for Yuletide photos just begging to be hashtagged #flowervaultattherim. “We wanted to do something Christmas-themed,” said Sarah Forrest, who co-created the Flower Vault with her husband Robbie Forrest. “We know that it’s a good time to come together as a family.” The five-room installation opens with a giant wreath swing and a perfectly placed mistletoe. Next comes the Candy Cane Room, a sweet space plastered with the red-and-white treats and a giant candy cane prop covered in artificial flowers. From there it’s on to Christmas Morning, a room covered in poinsettia-patterned wrapping paper with a pile of prop presents, some designed for you to pop out of. Next is the Flower Forest, a simple space bearing a small array of flower-decorated Christmas trees. The mazelike setup ends with the Snow Globe Room, which bears a wall of white artificial flowers and a shower of faux snow, no shaking required. Flower Vault tickets give you one hour’s time and cost $20 per person and $10 per pet pet, with kids ages 10 and younger free with a paid family member or guardian. All are important accounts that need high security, have unique passwords and some have two-factor authentication. I can remember all relevant usernames and passwords, but I now need to find a secure way to record the information, so that if something ever happens to incapacitate me, my wife and son will be able to access these accounts.
